The piece Sarana, premiering at Bravo! Festival will be performed between two rooms, in a doorway. A familiar, everyday entrance turns into a stage for imagination and the impossible becomes possible. What else can a door be than a gateway? This non-verbal miniature work will be performed only to a small audience at a time.

Ilmatila is a Hesinki-based contemporary circus group founded by a circus artist and choreographer Ilona Jäntti and an architect and animator Tuula Jeker in 2007. Ilmatila combines aerial acrobatics and site-specific aspects. Sarana was born out of the desire to create a performance in a small and everyday place.

Fall 2021 performance times to be announced later!
